Dress Shirt Dress - Picnic Party
The idea that started it all - these dresses are made from up-cycled unwanted dress shirts. Comfortable and loose fitting, each dress has functional buttons down to the waist, but will not open fully like a traditional button-up. The skirt is comprised of other shirts including the original button plackets - which is a fun way to indicate each piece’s previous life! All the dresses have large, sturdy pockets.
Size of each shirt is mainly determined by the original size of the base shirt. These are “men’s” shirts, and I’ll provide the tagged size as well as the PTP (pit to pit) measurement. I personally prefer my dresses to fit with 4-5 inches of space.
This one is too small for me to model, so I apologize for the lack of pictures. It’s tagged at a “men's" small. PTP measurement of 22 inches. Skirt is 23 inches with a total length collar to hem of 36 inches.
